Hurricane Ike hits Cincinnati...hard!

September 14th Hurricane Ike hit Cincinnati. I haven't posted about this before because I was trying to find some good pictures. I actually took this one. There was some serious damage. We lost power for 5 days. It was horrible! You don't realize how much you use electricity until you don't have it. We couldn't cook but all the food started going bad. We had to take food to friends houses to put in their fridges and charge our cell phones. At night we had to use candles and flashlights. Grayson had a hard time not watching Baby Einstein for so long. It was pretty scary though. We were very fortunate in not having any damage done to our house.
