Life was insanely busy during the few days leading up to Mother's Day and the few days after(Mike's finals, all the job changes, church callings, etc.). So Mike and I decided that we would postpone Mother's Day until there was a day that both of us could enjoy it (two weeks later...ha!). It was a lot of fun when it finally came. Mike made good food (breakfast in bed and a great dinner) and we spent a nice day together as a family.
The day before the Mother's Day makeup we went with the Martins to a local park. Cincinnati is known for its spectacular parks that are mostly composed of old family estates that have been donated to the city.
